Etsy Integration Setup Guide
This guide walks you through the steps required to integrate Etsy as a sales channel in Helm. You will learn how to install the channel, provide the necessary shop details, and authorise the connection to enable automatic order and inventory syncing

Prerequisites
Before you begin, please ensure the following:
You have administrative access to your Helm account.
You are the owner of an active Etsy shop.
You are able to log in to your Etsy account.

Step 1: Install the Etsy Sales Channel
From your Helm dashboard, click Settings in the bottom-left corner.
Navigate to the Sales Channels section.
Locate Etsy in the list of available integrations and click Install.
You will be presented with a simple credentials form. Enter the following:
Name – A unique reference name for this Etsy connection (e.g. Etsy - UK Shop).
Shop Name – The exact name of your Etsy shop.
Explore the configuration settings to further tailor and enhance your integration.
Click Settings in the top tab and choose the Helm warehouse from which goods will be despatched for this integration.

Optional configuration tabs include:
Stock Control – Set up Auto Sync Stock.
Brand – Setup your Company Information for this sales channel below. By default your Company Information as set in General Settings will be used.
Commercial Invoice – Setup your Commercial Invoice Information for this sales channel below. By default your Commercial Invoice Information as set in General Settings will be used.
Despatch Emails – Do you want Helm to send out an order despatched email with carrier tracking information (if applicable)? If you do setup your Despatch Email for this sales channel below.
Feedback Emails – Do you want Helm to send out an order feedback email? If you do, setup your Despatch Email for this sales channel below.
Adjust these according to your business requirements.
Click Submit to create the channel.
⚠️ If you receive an error message, the name you have entered is already in use. Try again with a different unique name.
A confirmation message will appear once the channel has been successfully created.

Step 2: Connect Your Etsy Account
After creating the channel, you will see it listed in your Sales Channels overview.
Click the Link icon to begin the connection process.
You will be redirected to Etsy’s secure authorisation page.
If prompted, log in to your Etsy account.

Click Allow Access to grant Helm permission to connect with your Etsy shop.

Once authorised, you will receive a success message confirming the integration is complete.

Completion
Your Etsy sales channel is now successfully connected to Helm. Orders and stock levels will sync automatically based on your system configuration.

Additional Notes
You can return to the Sales Channels section at any time to modify, reconnect, or manage your Etsy integration.
If you operate multiple Etsy shops, you may create additional channels using unique names.
Always ensure your Etsy login session remains valid to avoid interruption in syncing.
