Integrate your Yodel ECR courier account with Helm to automate your shipping workflows, simplify label generation, and ensure accurate tracking and fulfilment updates. Once connected, all dispatch operations and delivery statuses can be managed directly within Helm.

Who is Yodel ECR?

Yodel ECR (Enterprise Courier Routing) is part of Yodel’s enterprise logistics network, designed for high-volume and business-critical deliveries. The ECR service enables dynamic route management, real-time tracking, and enhanced visibility across your delivery network. Integrating Yodel ECR with Helm allows for automated despatch handling and synchronised delivery data - ensuring efficiency and accuracy from order to fulfilment.

Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Access the Integration Page

  1. Log in to your Helm account.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Courier Integrations.

  3. Click + Add New Courier in the bottom-right corner.

  4. Search for Yodel ECR in the list of available couriers.

  5. Click Install to begin setup.

Step 2: Fill in the Required Credentials

Once installed, a setup form will appear. Complete the following fields:

Name

Enter a custom name for this integration (e.g., Yodel ECR).

Auth Company

Enter your company name in Helm (e.g., companyname).

Test Account

Toggle No to disable test mode and enable live transmissions.

Meter Number

Enter your Meter Number as provided by Yodel.

License Plate Start

Enter the starting license plate number in your assigned range.

License Plate End

Enter the ending license plate number in your assigned range.

Starting Run Number

Enter the initial run number assigned to your deliveries.

Contract Number

Enter your Yodel Contract Number.

Contract Company Name

Enter your official contracted company name.

Contract Name

Enter the contract reference name.

Contract Address 1

Enter the first line of your contract address.

Contract Address 2

Enter the second line of your contract address, if applicable.

Contract City

Enter your contract city.

Contract County

Enter your contract county or region.

Contract Postcode

Enter your contract postcode.

Contract Phone

Enter your contact telephone number.

Contract Email

Enter your contract contact email address.

🔐 You must request these credentials directly from Yodel ECR if you have not already received them.

Step 3: Enable Testing Mode (Optional)

If you want to test the integration before going live:

  1. Set the Test Account toggle to Yes.

  2. This ensures no live data or shipments are sent to Yodel.

  3. Once the configuration is verified, switch the toggle back to No for live operations.

Step 4: Save and Finalise

  1. Review all fields carefully to confirm accuracy.

  2. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the form.

  3. A confirmation message will appear once your Yodel ECR integration is successfully connected.

Completion

Your Yodel ECR courier integration is now live in Helm. You can begin dispatching shipments through Yodel ECR, and tracking updates will sync automatically.
