Who is Yodel Link?

Yodel Link is part of Yodel’s enterprise logistics suite, designed for B2B and large-scale delivery networks. It provides advanced route planning, contract-based service configurations, and automated parcel tracking. Integrating Yodel Link with Helm enables full automation of despatch processes, contract data synchronisation, and tracking updates for improved operational accuracy and speed.

Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Access the Integration Page

  1. Log in to your Helm account.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Courier Integrations.

  3. Click + Add New Courier in the bottom-right corner.

  4. Search for Yodel Link in the list of available couriers.

  5. Click Install to begin setup.

Step 2: Fill in the Required Credentials

Once installed, a setup form will appear. Complete the following fields:

Name

Enter a custom name for this integration (e.g., Yodel Link).

Auth Company

Enter your company name in Helm (e.g., companyname).

Test Account

Toggle No to disable test mode and enable live transmissions.

Meter Number

Enter the Meter Number provided by Yodel.

License Plate Start

Enter your starting license plate range number.

License Plate End

Enter your ending license plate range number.

Starting Run Number

Enter your initial delivery run number.

Contract Number

Enter the contract number supplied by Yodel.

Account Number

Enter your Yodel account number.

Schedule Number

Enter your delivery or collection schedule number.

Contract Company Name

Enter the company name associated with your Yodel contract.

Contract Name

Enter the contract holder’s name or reference.

Contract Address 1

Enter the first line of your company’s contract address.

Contract Address 2

Enter the second line of your contract address, if applicable.

Contract City

Enter your contract city.

Contract County

Enter your contract county or region.

Contract Postcode

Enter your contract postcode.

Contract Phone

Enter your contact telephone number.

Contract VAT

Enter your VAT registration number.

Contract Email

Enter your contract contact email address.

🔐 All credentials and contractual information must be obtained directly from Yodel Link or your assigned account representative. Ensure that every value is entered exactly as provided to avoid integration errors.

Step 3: Enable Testing Mode (Optional)

If you want to test the integration before going live:

  1. Set the Test Account toggle to Yes.

  2. This will prevent live data from being transmitted to Yodel.

  3. Once the integration has been validated, switch the toggle to No to enable live operations.

Step 4: Save and Finalise

  1. Review all credentials and contract information carefully for accuracy.

  2. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the form.

  3. A confirmation message will appear once your Yodel Link integration has been successfully connected.

Completion

Your Yodel Link courier integration is now active in Helm. You can begin dispatching parcels through Yodel Link, with automated tracking and fulfilment data syncing seamlessly between both systems.

📌 You can return to Settings → Courier Integrations at any time to review, update, or modify this configuration.
