What is the Test Integration?
The Test Integration in Helm allows users to simulate courier connections without affecting live operations. Itβs an ideal environment for verifying setup steps, generating test labels, and ensuring credentials are mapped correctly before activating a live courier account.

Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Access the Integration Page
Log in to your Helm account.
Navigate to Settings β Courier Integrations.
Click + Add New Courier in the bottom-right corner.
Search for Test in the list of available couriers.
Click Install to begin setup.

Step 2: Fill in the Required Credentials
Once installed, a setup form will appear. Complete the following fields:
Field | Description |
Name | Enter a custom name for this integration (e.g., Test Integration). |
Auth Company | Enter your company name in Helm (e.g., company name). |
Test Account | Toggle No for standard setup. You may leave this as No since this integration itself is a sandbox. |
Username | Enter any sample username for testing. |
Password | Enter a test password to simulate authentication. |
π This integration is non-functional for live orders. It is strictly for internal testing, setup validation, and label creation exercises.

Step 3: Enable Testing Mode (Optional)
If you want to test the integration before going live:
Set Test Account to Yes to perform sandbox testing without sending live shipments.
Once configuration is verified, switch Test Account back to No for live operation.

Step 4: Save and Finalise
Review all fields to ensure accuracy.
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the form.
A confirmation message will appear once the integration is successfully completed.

Completion
Your Test integration is now active in Helm. You can safely create test shipments, generate mock labels, and explore the integration workflow without sending any real data to external couriers.
π¦ You can return to Settings β Courier Integrations at any time to review, update, or modify this configuration.
