Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Access the Integration Page

  1. Log in to your Helm account

  2. Navigate to:
    Settings β†’ Courier Integrations

  3. Click + Add New Courier in the bottom-right corner

  4. Search for FedEx V2 in the list of available couriers

  5. Click Install

Step 2: Fill in the Required Credentials

Once installed, a setup form will appear. Complete the following fields:

Step 3: Enable Testing Mode (Optional)

If you are setting up this courier for trial purposes or sandbox testing:

  • Set the Testing toggle to Yes

  • This prevents live data from being sent to FedEx V2

  • You may switch it to No once the setup is complete and verified

Step 4: Save and Finalise

  1. Review all fields to ensure accuracy

  2. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the form

  3. A confirmation message will appear once successfully integrated

FedEx v1 Integration: Uploading Letterhead and Signature Images

To send your Letterhead and Signature to FedEx via their API, you’ll need to provide the following fields:

  • β€Ž`letter_head_image_id`

  • β€Ž`letter_head_base64`

  • β€Ž`signature_image_id`

  • β€Ž`signature_base64`

How to prepare your images:

  1. Create your images: Use an image editor (such as Photoshop) to create your Letterhead and Signature images.

    • Letterhead: Maximum size is 700 x 50 pixels.

    • Signature: Maximum size is 240 x 25 pixels.

    • Both images must be in PNG format.

  2. Name your files:

    • Letterhead image file name: e.g. β€Ž`IMAGE_1`

    • Signature image file name: e.g. β€Ž`IMAGE_2`

  3. Convert images to base64: Use an online tool such as Base64 Image Encoder β†— to convert your PNG files to base64 format.

  4. Enter details in Voila: Copy and paste your image IDs and base64 data into the relevant fields.

Note: If you encounter errors despite correct credentials, please check with your FedEx Account Manager to ensure all required settings are enabled on your FedEx account.

FedEx v2 Integration: Uploading Letterhead and Signature Images

To send your Letterhead and Signature to FedEx via their API, please complete the following fields:
