Royal Mail Intersoft is a business-focused shipping platform providing seamless parcel management, label creation, and tracking for UK businesses. By connecting Intersoft with Helm, you can centralise order fulfilment, automate label generation, and maintain real-time tracking for all shipments.

Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Access the Integration Page

  1. Log in to your Helm account.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Courier Integrations.

  3. Click + Add New Courier in the bottom-right corner.

  4. Search for Royal Mail Intersoft in the list of available couriers.

  5. Click Install to begin setup.

Step 2: Fill in the Required Credentials

Once installed, a setup form will appear. Complete the following fields:

Enter a clear label for the integration (e.g., RoyalMailIntersoft).

Auth Company

Enter your company name in Helm (e.g., companyname).

Test Account

Toggle No for live operation. Set to Yes if testing.

User ID

Your Intersoft account User ID.

Password

Your Intersoft account password.

Account Code

Account code provided by Royal Mail Intersoft.

Posting Location

Specify the posting location assigned by Royal Mail Intersoft.

Custom Domain

Enter any custom domain required for API access.

Tracking Client ID

Client ID for accessing Royal Mail Intersoft tracking API.

Tracking Client Secret

Client secret associated with tracking API credentials.

🔐 Ensure all credentials are obtained directly from Royal Mail Intersoft and entered exactly as provided to prevent connection issues.

Step 3: Enable Testing Mode (Optional)

If you want to test the integration before going live:

  1. Set Test Account to Yes to perform sandbox testing without sending live shipments.

  2. Once configuration is verified, switch Test Account back to No for live operation.

Step 4: Save and Finalise

  1. Review all fields to ensure accuracy.

  2. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the form.

  3. A confirmation message will appear once the integration is successfully completed.

Completion

Your Royal Mail Intersoft integration is now active in Helm. You can create shipments, generate labels, and track deliveries automatically.
