Integrate your WooCommerce store with Helm to synchronise orders, stock, and streamline fulfilment operations

Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Access the Integration Page

  1. Log in to your Helm account

  2. Navigate to:
    Settings → Sales Channels.

  3. From the list of available sales channels, select WooCommerce.

Step 2: Obtain API Credentials from WooCommerce

To complete your WooCommerce integration, you’ll need your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret from your store’s REST API settings.

Steps to Generate API Credentials:

  1. Log in to your WooCommerce admin dashboard:

    https://woocommerce.YourStore/wp-admin/

  2. Navigate to:
    WooCommerce → Settings.

  3. Click the Advanced tab, then select REST API.

  4. Click the Add Key button.

  5. Fill in the key details:

    • Description – Any name of your choice.

    • Permissions – Select Read/Write.

  6. Click Generate API Key.

Your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret will now be displayed. Copy them and store securely.

Step 3: Complete the Helm Integration Form

Back in Helm, fill in the following fields for the WooCommerce channel:

Toggle ON to enable the channel

Name

Provide a meaningful name (e.g. WooCommerce UK)

Store URL

Enter your URL

Consumer Key

Paste the Consumer Key from the WooCommerce dashboard

Consumer Secret

Paste the Consumer Secret from the WooCommerce dashboard

Extra settings

Enable any of the additional settings you desire

Step 4: Configure Optional Settings

You can tailor your integration further through additional settings:

  • Settings – Set the default warehouse for fulfilment.

  • Stock Control – Enable Auto Sync Stock.

  • Brand – Use custom branding details (or default from General Settings).

  • Commercial Invoice – Add custom invoice details per channel.

  • Despatch Emails – Enable automatic order despatch notifications with tracking.

  • Feedback Emails – Enable follow-up review request emails.

  • Enable any other additional settings you require.

Adjust according to your operational needs.

Step 5: Finalise the Integration

Once all fields are filled:

  • Click Submit.

  • A confirmation will appear in the top-right corner.

  • Your WooCommerce sales channel will now be connected in Helm.

Completion

Your WooCommerce store is now successfully integrated with Helm. Orders and stock updates will sync automatically, allowing you to manage everything from your central dashboard.

📌 You can revisit the Sales Channels area at any time to manage or update your WooCommerce settings.
