Shop Apotheke Integration Setup Guide
This guide explains how to connect your Shop Apotheke Marketplace account to Helm, enabling automated import of orders and stock synchronisation so you can manage your Shop Apotheke sales channel from one central place.

What is Shop Apotheke Marketplace
Shop Apotheke Marketplace is the marketplace arm of SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE - one of Europe’s largest online pharmacies. The marketplace (launched in late 2021) lets approved third-party sellers offer complementary non-prescription health, beauty, wellness and personal-care products alongside Shop Apotheke’s own assortment.
By integrating Shop Apotheke with Helm you can import orders automatically, keep inventory and prices in sync, and push despatch/tracking updates back to the marketplace from a single dashboard

Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Start the Shop Apotheke integration in Helm
Log in to your Helm account.
Go to: Settings → Sales Channels (or Settings → My Store depending on your Helm version).
Click Add New Channel and search for Shop Apotheke. Select it and click Install / Add.

Step 2: Obtain and enter your credentials
Shop Apotheke will provide the credentials or access tokens you need to connect. In Helm, populate the integration fields with the credentials supplied by Shop Apotheke:
Active – Toggle Is Active to enable the channel.
Name – Give the channel a descriptive name (e.g. Shop Apotheke Germany).
API URL / Endpoint – Use the API/endpoint supplied by Shop Apotheke for your seller account.
API Key / Token – Paste the API key or access token you received through Shop Apotheke’s onboarding flow.
Selected Channel / Market – If Shop Apotheke supports multiple regional markets, choose the correct market (e.g. DE, NL, FR) as applicable.
Ensure credentials are copied exactly as supplied by Shop Apotheke. Shop Apotheke may request a product feed or sample listings for pre-approval — have a representative product file ready if requested.
Optional configuration tabs (recommended checks)
Credentials – Add any extra parameters (client IDs, refresh tokens) if provided.
Settings – Choose the warehouse from which Shop Apotheke orders will be shipped and set default shipping methods and lead times.
Stock Control – Enable Auto Sync Stock to push inventory updates from Helm to Shop Apotheke automatically.
Brand – Configure company/brand details for your Shop Apotheke presence; Helm can use defaults from General Settings or a channel-specific profile.
Commercial Invoice – Populate any channel-specific commercial invoice details required for cross-border orders.
Despatch Emails – Decide whether Helm should send despatch notifications (with tracking) back to customers via the marketplace.
Invoice / Document Upload – Some marketplaces require invoice upload or a specific invoice workflow — check Shop Apotheke’s requirements and enable Helm’s invoice/document upload features if needed.
🔐 Always use the credentials tied to your Shop Apotheke seller account. If you’re unsure which token to use, check the seller onboarding instructions or seller console you received from Shop Apotheke.

Step 3: Save and Activate
Click Submit (or Save) to store your credentials.
Helm will attempt to connect to Shop Apotheke. If the connection succeeds you will see a confirmation message and the channel will be listed as active. Helm will then begin pulling orders and pushing stock updates per your sync settings.
If you receive authentication or permission errors, confirm:
Your Shop Apotheke seller account has been approved.
The API token you pasted is current (tokens can expire or require refresh).
Any requested product feed or catalogue was submitted and approved by Shop Apotheke.

Completion
Once connected, your Shop Apotheke listings (those accepted by the marketplace) will be manageable from Helm: orders will import automatically, Helm will send despatch/tracking updates to Shop Apotheke, and inventory can be kept in sync to avoid oversells. Monitor onboarding messages from Shop Apotheke for any additional compliance requests or documentation needs.
