C-Discount Integration Setup Guide
This page outlines the process for integrating C-discount as a sales channel within Helm. You will learn how to retrieve your API credentials, install the integration, and correctly configure the required fields to enable automated order importing and inventory synchronisation.

Prerequisites
Before proceeding, ensure you have the following:
Administrative access to Helm.
A valid and active C-discount seller account.
Access to your API User ID, Client Secret, and Seller ID from C-discount.

Step 1: Obtain API Credentials from C-discount
To integrate C-discount with Helm, you must first retrieve your API login credentials.
Log in to your C-discount Seller Area.
Navigate to:
Settings → Your Personal Settings and Bank Details → Change Your API Connection SettingsLocate your API User ID — typically formatted as
login-apiClick Reset your API password.
A temporary password will be sent to the email address associated with your seller account.Visit the Change Your API Login Settings tab.
Replace the temporary password with a new secure password of your choice.
⚠️ Keep your API User ID, Client Secret, and Seller ID securely stored — they will be used during Helm configuration.

Step 2: Add C-discount as a Sales Channel in Helm
From your Helm dashboard, click Settings in the bottom-left corner.
In the left-hand navigation, go to the Sales Channels section.
Scroll through the list of available integrations and locate C-discount.
Click Install.

Step 3: Configure Integration Fields
You will now be prompted to complete the integration form:
Fill in the following fields:
Active: Toggle ON to activate the channel.
Name: Provide a meaningful name for your integration (e.g. Bol.com - NL).
Client ID: Paste the Client ID retrieved from the Seller Dashboard.
Client Secret: Paste the Client Secret.
Seller ID: Provide the unique Seller ID for your account.
Explore the configuration settings to further tailor and enhance your integration.
Optional configuration tabs include:
Settings - choose the warehouse from which goods will be despatched for this integration.
Stock Control – Set up Auto Sync Stock.
Brand – Setup your Company Information for this sales channel below. By default your Company Information as set in General Settings will be used.
Commercial Invoice – Setup your Commercial Invoice Information for this sales channel below. By default your Commercial Invoice Information as set in General Settings will be used.
Despatch Emails – Do you want Helm to send out an order despatched email with carrier tracking information (if applicable)? If you do setup your Despatch Email for this sales channel below.
Feedback Emails – Do you want Helm to send out an order feedback email? If you do, setup your Despatch Email for this sales channel below.
Adjust these according to your business requirements.
Once all fields are complete, click Submit.

Completion
After submission:
A confirmation message will appear in the top-right corner.
Your C-discount channel will now appear in the Sales Channels list.
Orders and inventory will begin synchronising based on your configured settings.

Additional Notes
You may return to the Sales Channels area at any time to review or update your C-discount integration.
Keep your API credentials secure and ensure they remain valid to avoid connection interruptions.
If you manage multiple C-discount stores, you may install additional channels using distinct names and credentials for each.
