EKM Integration Setup Guide

This page explains how to integrate EKM as a sales channel in Helm. You will learn how to create the channel, connect your EKM account, and authorise access to enable seamless syncing of orders and inventory

Prerequisites

Before beginning, ensure the following:

  • You have administrative access to Helm.

  • You have login credentials for your EKM store.

Step 1: Create the EKM Sales Channel

  1. From your Helm dashboard, click Settings in the bottom-left corner.

  2. Navigate to the Sales Channels section.

  3. Locate EKM in the list of available integrations and click Install.

  4. You will be asked to provide a single field:
    Name – Enter a unique and meaningful name for your EKM channel.
    For example: EKM - UK Store.

  5. Optional configuration tabs include:
    Adjust these according to your business requirements.

    • Settings - You can set up your warehouse and its unique settings.

    • Stock Control – Set up Auto Sync Stock.

    • Brand – Setup your Company Information for this sales channel below. By default your Company Information as set in General Settings will be used.

    • Commercial Invoice – Setup your Commercial Invoice Information for this sales channel below. By default your Commercial Invoice Information as set in General Settings will be used.

    • Despatch Emails – Do you want Helm to send out an order despatched email with carrier tracking information (if applicable)? If you do setup your Despatch Email for this sales channel below.

    • Feedback Emails – Do you want Helm to send out an order feedback email? If you do, setup your Despatch Email for this sales channel below.

  6. Click Submit to create the channel.

⚠️ If you receive an error stating the name is already taken, simply try another unique name.

  1. A confirmation message will appear once the channel is successfully created.

Step 2: Connect Your EKM Account

  1. After creation, your new EKM channel will appear in the Sales Channels list.

  2. If you are not already signed in to your EKM account, you will be prompted to log in.

  3. If you are already logged in, you will automatically be redirected to the authorisation screen.

  4. Click Allow to grant Helm access to your EKM store.

  5. A success message will confirm the connection has been established.

Completion

Once authorisation is complete:

  • Your EKM sales channel is now fully connected.

  • Orders and stock levels will begin syncing automatically based on your Helm configuration.

Additional Notes

  • You can update or manage your EKM integration settings at any time by returning to the Sales Channels area.

  • If you have multiple EKM stores, you may set up additional channels using distinct names.

  • Always ensure your EKM login session remains valid to maintain integration stability.
