OpenCart V2 Integration Setup Guide
Integrate your OpenCart V2 store with Helm to streamline order processing, synchronise inventory, and manage fulfilment seamlessly. To set up this sales channel, follow the steps below.

Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure the following:
You have administrative access to your OpenCart V2 Admin Panel.
You have your OpenCart store URL ready.
You are able to create an API user within OpenCart..

Step 1: Create an API User in OpenCart
Log in to your OpenCart Admin Panel.
In the top menu, navigate to:
Settings → Users → API
Click the plus icon (+) to add a new API user.

In the API Name field, enter a recognisable name (e.g.,
helm_api).Click the Generate button to create an API Key.
Set the Status to Enabled.

Click the Save (floppy disk icon) in the top right corner to finalise the setup.
You will now have the two required credentials:
API Name
API Key
⚠️ Note:
Be sure to copy and securely store the API Key. You will use it when connecting to Helm.

Step 2: Connect OpenCart V2 to Helm
From the Helm Dashboard, go to
Settings → Sales ChannelsSelect OpenCart V2 from the available integrations.
Fill in the required fields:
Active: Toggle ON to activate the channel.
Name: A reference name for the integration (e.g.,
OpenCart UK Store).Domain: Your full store URL (e.g.,
https://yourstore.com).API Name: The name entered in OpenCart.
API Key: The generated key from the previous step.

Step 3: Assign Warehouse
Click the Settings tab.
Choose the Helm warehouse from which orders will be despatched.

Step 4: Optional Settings
Explore and configure additional settings tailored to your business needs. These may include:
Settings - You can set up your warehouse and its unique settings.
Stock Control – Automatically synchronise inventory.
Despatch Emails – Send automated shipping confirmations.
Feedback Emails – Prompt customers for post-purchase feedback.
Branding – Use customised company details per channel.
Commercial Invoice – Configure invoice details for each.

Step 5: Finalise Integration
Once all fields are complete:
Click Submit.
A confirmation message will appear in the top right corner.
Your OpenCart V2 channel is now live, and orders will begin syncing automatically.

Outcome:
By completing this setup, users will have a fully integrated OpenCart V2 sales channel in Helm, enabling automatic syncing of orders, inventory, and fulfilment workflows.
