What is Showroomprivé
Showroomprivé is a French online private-sales and marketplace platform focused on fashion, lifestyle and home categories. It runs time-limited “flash” events and private sales to a large member base: giving sellers fast bursts of high traffic and demand. Showroomprivé operates across multiple European markets and reaches millions of members and daily visitors, making it an attractive channel for brands and retailers.
By adding Showroomprivé to Helm you can centralise order import, keep inventory and prices synchronised, and send despatch/tracking updates back to the channel: all from the same dashboard you use for your other sales channels. Several middleware and platform partners commonly integrate with Showroomprivé, so Helm will behave like any other connector in your ecosystem.
PROS ✅ | CONS ❌ |
Direct access to Showroomprivé’s large, event-driven audience (high traffic during flash sales). | Sellers must be approved by Showroomprivé; onboarding typically requires company details, VAT information and product data review. |
Centralised order import and stock synchronisation through Helm: reduces manual work across channels. | The platform is event-driven (flash sales): product availability windows, pricing and campaign rules may differ from always-on marketplaces: plan inventory and pricing accordingly. |
Flexible fulfilment: manage shipments, invoices and channel reporting alongside your other markets. | Marketplace fees, commissions and campaign placement rules are agreed during onboarding and can vary by category and country. |

Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Start the Showroomprivé integration in Helm
Log in to your Helm account.
Go to Settings → Sales Channels.
Click Add New Channel, search for Showroomprivé and select Add / Install.
Note: you will need an approved Showroomprivé seller account before the channel will accept live listings and orders. Prepare company registration, VAT and product information for approval.

Step 2: Enter Your Credentials
Showroomprivé will provide the credentials or access tokens needed to connect. In Helm, populate the integration fields with the credentials supplied by Showroomprivé:
Active – Toggle Is Active to enable the channel.
Name – Enter a descriptive channel name (e.g. ShowroomPrivé FR).
API URL / Endpoint – Use the API/endpoint supplied by Showroomprivé for your seller account.
API Key / Token – Paste the API key or access token you received during onboarding.
Selected Channel / Market – If Showroomprivé supports multiple markets in your Helm instance, select the correct market (e.g. FR, ES, PT) as appropriate.
Ensure credentials are copied exactly as supplied. Showroomprivé commonly asks for product feed samples or inventory files during onboarding — have representative product data, images and attributes ready for submission.
Optional configuration tabs include:
Adjust these parameters in accordance with your business protocols.
Credentials – Add any extra parameters (client IDs, refresh tokens) if provided by Showroomprivé.
Settings – Choose the warehouse from which Showroomprivé orders will be fulfilled; set default shipping methods and lead times.
Stock Control – Enable Auto Sync Stock so Helm pushes inventory updates to Showroomprivé automatically and prevents oversells during high-volume events.
Brand – Configure your company/brand details for the Showroomprivé channel; Helm can use defaults from General Settings or a channel-specific profile.
Commercial Invoice – Populate channel-specific invoice details for cross-border orders, if required.
Despatch Emails – Decide whether Helm should send despatch notifications (with tracking) to Showroomprivé/customers.
Invoice / Document Upload – If Showroomprivé asks for invoice uploads or specific documentation workflows, enable Helm’s document upload features and map the required files to the channel.
🔐 Always use the credentials tied to your Showroomprivé seller account. If unsure which token to use, check the seller onboarding instructions or your seller console.

Step 3: Save and Activate
Click Submit (or Save) to store your credentials.
Helm will attempt to connect to Showroomprivé. On successful connection you’ll see a confirmation and the channel will be listed as active. Helm will then begin importing orders and synchronising stock per your sync settings.
If you see authentication or permission errors, confirm:
Your Showroomprivé seller account has been approved and is active.
The API token you entered is current (some tokens may expire or require rotation).
Any product feed or catalogue submissions requested during onboarding were submitted and accepted.

Completion
Once connected, your Showroomprivé listings (those accepted by Showroomprivé) will be manageable from Helm: orders will import automatically, Helm will submit despatch/tracking updates, and inventory will be kept in sync to reduce oversells during flash events. Continue to monitor onboarding messages and campaign schedules from Showroomprivé to ensure listings meet event requirements.
