AliExpress Integration Setup Guide

This page guides you through the process of integrating AliExpress as a sales channel within Helm. You’ll learn how to locate the integration, configure the required settings, and complete the authorisation flow to ensure a secure and seamless connection.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure you have administrative access to Helm

  • Have an active AliExpress seller account and credentials ready

Step 1: Access the Sales Channels Area

  1. From your Helm dashboard, navigate to the bottom left corner and click on Settings

  2. Locate and select Sales Channels

  3. From the list of available integrations, locate and click Install on AliExpress

Step 2: Configure the Integration Fields

Upon selecting AliExpress, you will be presented with a Credentials form. Complete the following fields:

Active

Toggle ON to enable the integration.

Name

Enter a unique identifier for your AliExpress store.

  • Example: AliExpress - UK

Fulfilment Country ISO Code

This determines the destination country for fulfilment purposes. Use a valid country code.

  • Example for shipments to Italy: IT

Explore any additional configuration options to align the integration with your sales processes or data preferences.

Warehouse Selection

Click Settings in the top tab and choose the Helm warehouse from which goods will be despatched for this integration.

Explore the configuration settings to further tailor and enhance your integration according to your fulfilment strategy and vendor agreements.

Optional configuration tabs include:

  • Stock Control – Set up Auto Sync Stock

  • Brand – Setup your Company Information for this sales channel below. By default your Company Information as set in General Settings will be used.

  • Commercial Invoice – Setup your Commercial Invoice Information for this sales channel below. By default your Commercial Invoice Information as set in General Settings will be used.

  • Despatch Emails – Do you want Helm to send out an order despatched email with carrier tracking information (if applicable)? If you do setup your Despatch Email for this sales channel below.

  • Feedback Emails – Do you want Helm to send out an order feedback email? If you do, setup your Despatch Email for this sales channel below.

Adjust these according to your business requirements.

Once all fields are complete, click Submit.

Step 3: Authorise the AliExpress Connection

After submission:

  • A success message will confirm the channel has been created

  • The channel will appear in your sales channels with three options: Edit, Connect Channel and Delete.

  1. Click the Connect Channel button in the middle

  2. You will be redirected automatically to a Neuro page

  3. Click Connect to initiate the authorisation process

  4. If you are not already signed in to AliExpress, enter your login credentials

  5. Review the permissions and tick the checkbox to confirm

  6. Click Authorise

⚠️ Note:

If you accidentally close the redirection window, you can return to it by navigating to: Settings → Sales Channels → AliExpress, then clicking the link icon to reopen the connection page

Completion

Once authorised:

  • Your AliExpress account will be successfully connected to Helm

  • Orders and inventory will begin syncing based on your configured preferences

Additional Notes

  • Changes to channel settings can be made at any time via the Sales Channels menu

  • Ensure your API credentials remain up to date to prevent connection issues
